Pittsburgh Center for the Arts 9/2007 - 11/2007
I was named the 2007 Emerging Artist of the Year and given three gallery spaces at the PCA with which to present my solo exhibition. Thirty four paintings were contextualized through wall painting and clustered installations.

Mattress Factory Museum 11/2006 - 1/2007
I was invited to participate in this group show one month before the opening reception. All artists were encouraged to experiment with something new, and to do so quickly.
I chose an all-black wall in the gallery and then set to work on a painting installation called Driving Directions for Five Ornamental Surfaces.

Greater Reston Arts Center 9/2006 - 10/2006
This solo show was an interesting opportunity to present my work in my hometown, bringing some of my thoughts about suburban culture and development back to the environment where I learned about them in the first place. The gallery featured completely mobile walls enclosed in a hexagonal exhibition space, and the staff was kind enough to allow me to use spraypaint to create connections across visually disparate images.

Pittsburgh's Best 2006 (coming soon)
Three Rivers Arts Festival 6/2006 - 7/2006
In this unfortunately-titled group show I unveiled my first salon-ish installation of paintings and collages in a work called The Judicious Development. This was the beginning of my newly kindled interest in collage, and my first stab at abstract wall painting as a compositional tool.
