Téah Mitchell
Téah Mitchell is a queer Australian-American artist and Studio Manager of Adam Grossi Studio.
In their personal artistic practice, they consider themself to be primarily a printmaker, working within the processes of drawing, linocut, screen printing, risograph, and photography. Additional areas of Téah’s practice include sculpture, textile art, and digital art.
Their work commonly features biblical imagery, explorations of queer identity, body horror as a metaphor for internal struggle, ocean life, creepy monsters and lots and lots of eyeballs!
Téah's work attempts to, somewhat paradoxically, unsettle and provide comfort to the viewer. They aim to play with the dichotomy of nostalgia, both the melancholy and the solace that we gain through the healing process.
Téah is currently attending George Mason University’s School of Art and will graduate in 2026 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Art and Visual Technology with a Concentration in Studio Art.
